5-7 p.m.: Under the Christmas Preludetm Tent Event. Enjoy the music of Zach Strout before and after the Dock Square tree lighting and fireworks display.
5- 7 p.m.: Artists Reception. Join local artists who have works displayed in the annual Clothesline Show for light refreshments and live music. A Special prix fixe menu is available after reception at On the March Bistro. Reservations recommended. River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Lower Village.

5:30 p.m.: Tree Lighting Ceremony in Dock Square. Join in Christmas caroling with local talent Amy Allen who will be nestled on the porch of Port Shoes in Dock Square to begin the second weekend of festivities as our Christmas Prelude 2012 continues. Sponsored by KBA member Port Shoes. After the tree lighting, gather in the municipal parking lot behind Alisson's, huddle on the causeway, or the surrounding area to view the second annual Prelude fireworks display.
6:15 p.m.: Christmas Fireworks Display. Enjoy our Prelude extravaganza that will take place in the cove and can be viewed from the bridge and surrounding areas. Hats off to Steve Pelkey, Atlas Pyrotechnics of Jaffrey, N.H. and all the KBA members who contributed to make this event possible.
7 p.m.: Rock My Soul Sextet. "Gospelized" Christmas carols and doo wop arrangements of popular holiday favorites. Village Baptist Church, 6 Maine St. Donations appreciated. Sponsored by KBA member Dock Square Clothiers and Grissini.
7 p.m.: Mosaic Performs "Comfort and Joy." Local singers/musicians will perform with mandolin, guitar and bodhran, as well as a capella. Consolidated School, School Street, Route 9 East. Presented by Kennebunkport Parks and Recreation. $1 donation to benefit area children.
9 a.m.-4 p.m.: The School Around Us Craft Fair. This juried fair includes the finest local artisans and craftsmen. 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: Holiday Luncheon and Craft Fair. Enjoy holiday entertainment and comfort foods amongst all the holiday décor. Peruse items from over 30 crafters offering jewelry, clothing, and holiday must-haves. Plenty of free parking. Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Ave.
11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Under the Christmas Preludetm Tent Event. Stop by to taste the fire department's famous "Five Alarm Chili" and hot dogs. Fund raiser to benefit local assistance programs. Village Cupcake will have dessert available and Kim from The Sandart Factory will be showing, in just a few easy steps, how you can become an instant sand artist.
Noon-1 p.m.: Melodies and Memories, Barbershop Quartet. This nationally ranked singing group will perform Christmas favorites while they wander our festive streets. Sponsored by KBA members, Flaherty Imports and The Whimsy Shop.
Noon-2 p.m.: Wreath Decorating Workshop. Come to the Galleries at Morning Walk, purchase a plain green wreath and choose from a selection of accessories. Learn bow making and other techniques to adorn your custom wreath. 139 Port Road, Rt. 35, less than a mile from Dock Square.
Noon-3 p.m. Outdoor Barbeque. The Edgewater Inn (former Green Heron) will be serving pulled pork sliders and hot apple cider roadside. Proceeds will go to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. 4:30 p.m.: A Christmas Choral Delight. Celebrate the Christmas season with Lyricora, a Boston-area ensemble dedicated to engaging, educating, and entertaining audiences through performances of the highest caliber. Lyricora will present a concert including arrangements of favorite carols and beautiful contemporary choral literature. Directed by Thomas Brooks.
