10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Winter Warmers Open House. KBA Member, Cape Porpoise Kitchen will be serving samples of all your winter favorites - mulled cider, cookies, and hot chocolate. Cape Porpoise Square. For more information: 207-967-1150.

10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Annual Clothesline Art Show featuring pottery, jewelry, housewares, and artwork created by fine local artists, priced for gift giving. Refreshments. River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Lower Village.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Chamber Prelude Raffle. Win a two-night getaway stay in the Kennebunks at one of 10 participating inns and resorts. Tickets are $20 each and only 1,000 will be sold. Purchase your tickets at the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Arundel Chamber of Commerce at 17 Western Ave., or look for tables in Dock Square and downtown Kennebunk. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Art Guild of the Kennebunks Prelude Show featuring original works of art from local artists. At "The Port" by Wendy Webster Good Fine Art, Union Square.

1- 3:30 p.m.: Historic Trolley Ride. Ride an historic electric streetcar through the Maine woods. Complimentary hot drinks and snacks available. Unique gifts found only in the museum store, open noon to 4 p.m. $6 pp for trolley rides. The Seashore Trolley Museum , 195 Log Cabin Road (three miles north of Dock Square). Noon-4p.m.: Deck the Hall! Tour White Columns, the 1853 Nott House, with holiday decorations, historic costumes, trees, and wreaths while learning about 19th century Kennebunkport. Tours leave every 15 minutes. $10 pp. 8 Maine St. Presented by the Kennebunkport Historical Society.

1:30, 2 and 2:30 p.m.: Historic Village Walking Tour. Journey through downtown Kennebunkport and hear stories of its historic past while enjoying the holiday decorations. Tours begin at White Columns, 8 Maine St. Admission: $10. Presented by The Kennebunkport Historical Society.

5-7 p.m.: Under the Christmas Preludetm Tent Event. Enjoy the music of Zach Strout before and after the Dock Square tree lighting and fireworks display.

5- 7 p.m.: Artists Reception. Join local artists who have works displayed in the annual Clothesline Show for light refreshments and live music. A Special prix fixe menu is available after reception at On the March Bistro. Reservations recommended. River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Lower Village.

5-10 p.m.: Fire and Ice Bar. Join us both inside and out at the Nonantum Resort for the Fire and Ice Bar. A variety of foods by various local restaurants, live entertainment, fireside seating and more. $20 pp. Purchase in advance or at the door. Proceeds to benefit Winter Kids. 21 and over please. 5:30-7 p.m.: Fireworks Party. Come watch the "works" from the best seat in the Port. Admission $10, includes snacks and one hot drink from our cider/cocoa buffet! Federal Jack's Brew Pub, 8 Western Ave., Lower Village.

5:30 p.m.: Tree Lighting Ceremony in Dock Square. Join in Christmas caroling with local talent Amy Allen who will be nestled on the porch of Port Shoes in Dock Square to begin the second weekend of festivities as our Christmas Prelude 2012 continues. Sponsored by KBA member Port Shoes. After the tree lighting, gather in the municipal parking lot behind Alisson's, huddle on the causeway, or the surrounding area to view the second annual Prelude fireworks display.

6:15 p.m.: Christmas Fireworks Display. Enjoy our Prelude extravaganza that will take place in the cove and can be viewed from the bridge and surrounding areas. Hats off to Steve Pelkey, Atlas Pyrotechnics of Jaffrey, N.H. and all the KBA members who contributed to make this event possible.

7 p.m.: Rock My Soul Sextet. "Gospelized" Christmas carols and doo wop arrangements of popular holiday favorites. Village Baptist Church, 6 Maine St. Donations appreciated. Sponsored by KBA member Dock Square Clothiers and Grissini.

7 p.m.: Mosaic Performs "Comfort and Joy." Local singers/musicians will perform with mandolin, guitar and bodhran, as well as a capella. Enjoy festive music ranging from medieval times to the present. $7 pp. Proceeds benefit The New School. Atlantic Hall, Cape Porpoise Square. For more information, call 207-985-3745. 7:30 p.m.: Christmas in Medieval and Baroque Song. St. Mary Schola, a professional early music ensemble from Falmouth, Maine, will present an evening of vocal, instrumental, and readings of the season. South Congregational Church, Temple St. Tickets available at the door.

9 p.m.-midnight: Christmas Karaoke & DJ. Sing along to your favorites at Alisson's Restaurant, Dock Square .

9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Prelude Craft Fair. This inaugural fair is modeled after our wildly successful fair of Prelude's first weekend, with many new and different crafters. Consolidated School, School Street, Route 9 East. Presented by Kennebunkport Parks and Recreation. $1 donation to benefit area children.

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: The School Around Us Craft Fair. This juried fair includes the finest local artisans and craftsmen. Quality products from handmade landing nets and homemade jam to fine jewelry and decorative pottery. www.schoolaroundus.org. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: "Mainely Unique" Craft Fair by The Women's Assoc. of South Congregational Church. Handcrafted items for Christmas gift giving. Community House, Temple Street, across from the Kennebunkport Post Office.

10-11 a.m.: Preschool Gift-Making Workshop. Kids ages 4-6 will make priceless gifts for the holidays in the Children's Studio at River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Lower Village. Reservations required. 207-967-9120.

10 a.m.: Under the Christmas Preludetm Tent Event. Kennebunk High School Twirlers will be offering coffee and donuts to early guests.

Look for the Cookie Contest emblem on store windows. Winner to be announced Sunday at noon at The Christmas Prelude Tent.

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: The Wandering Christmas Minstrel. Dave Peloquin, with top hat, guitar, and clear tenor voice will stroll through Dock Square and Lower Village shopping areas for your holiday entertainment. Sponsors: the KBA and member Port Watch.

11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: Holiday Luncheon and Craft Fair. Enjoy holiday entertainment and comfort foods amongst all the holiday décor. Peruse items from over 30 crafters offering jewelry, clothing, and holiday must-haves. Plenty of free parking. Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Ave.

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Under the Christmas Preludetm Tent Event. Stop by to taste the fire department's famous "Five Alarm Chili" and hot dogs. Fund raiser to benefit local assistance programs. Village Cupcake will have dessert available and Kim from The Sandart Factory will be showing, in just a few easy steps, how you can become an instant sand artist.

Noon-1 p.m.: Melodies and Memories, Barbershop Quartet. This nationally ranked singing group will perform Christmas favorites while they wander our festive streets. Sponsored by KBA members, Flaherty Imports and The Whimsy Shop.

Noon-2 p.m.: Wreath Decorating Workshop. Come to the Galleries at Morning Walk, purchase a plain green wreath and choose from a selection of accessories. Learn bow making and other techniques to adorn your custom wreath. 139 Port Road, Rt. 35, less than a mile from Dock Square.

Noon-3 p.m. Outdoor Barbeque. The Edgewater Inn (former Green Heron) will be serving pulled pork sliders and hot apple cider roadside. Proceeds will go to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. 1-3 p.m.: The Patriot Fife and Drum Duo will stroll through Dock Square and Lower Village shopping areas for your holiday entertainment. Sponsored by KBA members H. B. Provisions and Federal Jack's Restaurant and Brew Pub.

1-3:30 p.m.: Historic Inns Open House. The Historic Inns of Kennebunkport will display their splendid holiday decorations and serve refreshments. $5 donation. Tickets available at the Chamber of Commerce or the respective inns. roceeds to benefit the Village Baptist Church Steeple Fund. 1- 7:30 p.m.: Holiday Wine Tasting. Stop by Down East Wine Imports for samples of favorite wines. Taste wines from around the world, in a variety of price ranges for entertaining or gift giving. Suggestions will be offered to compliment holiday meals. 13 Western Ave. Lower Village.

4:30 p.m.: The Walk to Bethlehem . Be part of the procession that follows Mary and Joseph as they look for shelter at our historic inns: hymns, carols, candles, readings. Procession begins at the Captain Fairfield Inn, 8 Pleasant St. Sponsored by KBA members The Historic Inns of Kennebunkport.

4:30 p.m.: A Christmas Choral Delight. Celebrate the Christmas season with Lyricora, a Boston-area ensemble dedicated to engaging, educating, and entertaining audiences through performances of the highest caliber. Lyricora will present a concert including arrangements of favorite carols and beautiful contemporary choral literature. Directed by Thomas Brooks. Village Baptist Church, 6 Maine St. Donations appreciated.

7 p.m.: Music for a Winter's Night. An evening of seasonal favorites performed by the Seaglass Chorale to include the choruses from the "Messiah" and a carol sing-along. South Congregational Church, Temple Street. Tickets available at the door.

7:30 p.m.: Holiday Concert. An evening of season carols and choral music performed by the Kennebunk High School Chamber Choir, directed by Nathan Menifield, at the Village Baptist Church, Maine Street. Sponsored by Kennebunkport Business Association.

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Book Signing at Poofberry's. Author and storyteller Rebecca Rule will read and sign her newest book The Iciest, Diciest, Scariest Sled Ride Ever. Join us at Poofberry's, Cooper's Corner, at the traffic lights.

2 p.m.: Santa Arrives by Fire Engine in Cape Porpoise Square. Meet him at Cape Porpoise Kitchen, Cape Porpoise Square. Photos for children of all ages. Hot chocolate and candy canes aplenty. Sponsored by the Kennebunkport Business Association and KBA member Cape Porpoise Kitchen.
